Nancy Reno

Nancy Reno and Holly McPeak were the top-seeded American team in the Olympic Women's Beach Volleyball competition. They qualified based on their performance in international events sponsored by the FIVB. They finished fifth in the compettition.

After competing on the 1998 FIVB tour with Elaine Youngs, Nancy has retemaned with Holly for at least the first event of the 1999 FIVB season. Reportedly, they hope to go to the 2000 Olympics together.

Nancy has competed on the WPVA tour since 1990, except for 1993-94 when she played on the AVP's Women's tour. She and McPeak had eight wins on the WPVA tour in 1995, plus their success at the FIVB events. She has chosen, however, to pair with Karolyn Kirby for some matches in late 1995 and early 1996. She started the 1997 season with a second place finish at Miami, again paired with Karolyn Kirby.

Nancy competed collegiately with Stanford for four years (1983-87 seasons). She also played for the San Jose Golddiggers of MLV in the spring of 1988. She was born in Elmhurst, IL, and stand 5' 11".
